Grandma's house
The interior of the family house, which is part of a colony of terraced houses with an amazing genius loci. The original layout was very successful, the individual rooms have well thought out and functional proportions, which made it possible to adapt them to contemporary needs. The ground floor of the house offers generous space for play. A furniture cube is inserted in the centre of the room, dividing the space into different functional zones. At the same time, we differentiate it in colour so that its essence as an inserted, new piece of furniture stands out. Throughout the interior, earthy wood tones and muted colours come into play. We work with the heritage of the older generation, which is incorporated into the design. Renovated solitaire carpets, wall cuckoos and a large striking clock all find their place.
