Family living with the subtle charm of defiance

House without garden

Outlook. This was the element that played a primary role in the plot. But how to ensure a view from all the rooms, respecting the dense village development, when the sloping and atypical shaped plot tapers conically towards it? We have designed a house that, while respecting the elements of traditional village architecture, such as a rectangular mass with a gable roof, also rebels a bit: for example, with a generous glass façade, or with beveled "canopies" in the bedrooms, which are slightly rotated in the plan to also capture some of the view in the desired direction through narrow windows. However, the considerably less glazing gives them a completely different and very cosy atmosphere providing a feeling of security.
