Family house Mladotické Mlaky

Our project, which we have named "hájovna", is a house located almost in a secluded place by the forest, harmoniously blending with the natural environment. The house is conceived as two separate buildings - the first one includes a garage and a spacious workshop, while the second one is the house itself. The family house is designed as a ground-floor building on a rectangular plan, which opens towards the garden and meadow, providing a magnificent view of the forest. Thanks to this orientation, all rooms have direct access to the garden, allowing the inhabitants of the house to move easily between the interior and exterior and enjoy the tranquility of nature. The unique layout of the two buildings creates a courtyard-like space between them. This courtyard is enclosed by a stone wall and evokes the atmosphere of a traditional rural dwelling typical of southern Bohemia. This architectural element not only ensures privacy but also gives the whole house an authentic and impressive character. This house is thus a modern reinterpretation of the classic farmhouse, combining traditional elements with modern design and comfort, offering a unique lifestyle in the arms of nature.
