The beauty of concrete in its purest form

interior of the house under the willow tree

The house standing on a sloping plot works ingeniously with the terrain. The entrance part of the house is very unobtrusive and modest from the outside. In contrast, the lower floor at pond level is quite large and fully open to the vast and wild garden. The transition between the two spaces takes place in a generously proportioned entrance hall with staircase, in an elevated space with an upper skylight. Light is an integral part of the concept of the whole house. We have let it enter into the bowels of the concrete monolith. Its changeability over time creates an infinite screen on which everyday life takes place.
