In the slope
The house, comfortably and at the same time slightly defiantly perched on a slope, in a way defines itself to the surrounding development. For it confidently goes its own way, turning for enticing views of the countryside. The villa was to be created by renovating the original building. During construction, however, it became clear that it was in far worse condition than the exploratory probes had revealed. In practice, therefore, it is a new building on an existing plan. Its interior is strikingly austere, almost purist. The individual rooms are windowed onto the landscape with unrestricted panoramas of the surroundings.
