Town House Behind the Paper Mill
Creating a corner townhouse in a place that will soon undergo a complete transformation was a daunting task on many levels. Our competition design entered the site with the ambition of refreshing some of the proven principles of pavilion building and taking them a little further towards building a cohesive community of people. Our primary goal is to complete the future city block by maintaining the permeability of the area towards the inner city. We believe that the creation of green courtyard blocks across Prague is not a utopian vision, and that the first swallows can set the direction that individual city blocks will take.
